Bhutan

The Kingdom of Bhutan is that the landlocked Buddhist nation within the central Himalaya. Regional fiefdoms were unified within the 17 century by a spiritual and leader. Bhutan’s first hereditary monarch was enthroned in 1097, and therefore the country joined the international organization in 1971. Bhutan is bordered by the Chinese controlled Tibet to the north and India to south, east, and west.

The word Bhutan mat has been derived from Sanskrit sense “end of Tibet” as Bhutan lies at the southeast border of the Tibetan plateau. Bhutan is thought of as Druk Yul meaning “The Land of Thunder Dragon” within the Bhutanese Language of Dzongkha.
