Island peak climbing (6189m) lies in the center of the Everest region of Nepal. This Peak Climbing is also called Imjatse in Nepal-offers a superb panorama of the Khumbu area from its summit. The imjatse peak is an excellent way to venture into altitudes above 600m without great technical difficulty. Island Peak is the most popular of Nepal 33 designated trekking a peak white climbing this peak you will discover 4 valleys, One high pass, and 1 peak climbing.

 Kongmala is one high pass. At kalapathar (18187 ft / 5545 m) which is a wonderful location to View and photograph Mt Everest before we had for a visit to Everest base camp. Island peak offers great Himalayan scenery of the mountains that you can see Nuptus and Lotse to the north mount Makalu to the east and Baruntse and Amadablam to the south. The peak named Island peak climbing in 1951 by Eric Shipton expedition team. We will be our 16- days in Kathmandu with a visit to UNESCO world heritages sits before heading to the one of the most popular trekking peak in Nepal for climbing on the Himalayas “Island Peak”.

Itinerary

Day 1Arrival in Kathmandu (13,45m) at the Tribhuwan International Airport (TIA)

Day 2Sightseeing of Kathmandu valley UNESCO world heritage sites

After breakfast, proceed for sightseeing tours to world heritage sites of Pashupatinath Temple.the holiest Hindu Temple on the bank of sacred Bagmati River, Boudhanath Stupa-the biggest Buddhist Stupa architecture in the world. Patan Durbar Square is the oldest city in the Kathmandu valley with age-old tradition also called Lalitpur.the city of fine arts. The visit covers the Durbar Square, the Krishna temple, the Kumbheswore temple, the Golden temple and many more. Swayambhunath Stupa-the 2000 years old legendary stupa on the hillock also nicknamed as monkey temple. Your day tour ends Kathmandu Durbar Square Showcasing living goddess Kumari Temple, Nautale Durbar, the Kaal Bhairav, the Sweet Bhairav, the freak Street and more.

Day 3Fly (40min) to Lukla (2,840m) by morning flight, then commence trek to Phakding (2,610m)

We take an early morning flight to Lukla, which is completely dependent on weather conditions. Day 4Phakding to Namche Bazaar (3,441m)

Going through a beautiful pine forest, we follow the trail north up the valley of Benkar. After that, we cross Dudh Koshi River and go on passing Chumoa to Monjo, and the entrance to Everest National Park. Then crossing a suspension bridge, we pass Jorsale village and walk to the Dudh Koshi and Bhote Koshi rivers. After a while, we reach the heart of Sherpa village – Namche Bazaar. At one hour’s distance to reaching Namche Bazaar, if the weather permits, we can view the beautiful sights of Mt. Everest and Mt. Lhotse.5.5 hrs. Overnight at a guesthouse

Day 5Namche Bazaar / Acclimatization

Our guide will take you to explore around the nearest villages or hike up to Syangboche Everest View hotel for a couple of hours to resist your body with high elevation). There are many things to do around Namche Bazaar, and we can spend a day here by gaining lots of fun. Namche Bazaar is the heart of the Khumbu region and has government offices, ATMs, Internet cafes, shops, restaurants, and a colorful market where we get lots of facilities. Our guides can take us to explore the real beauty of Namche Bazaar. Hiking to Sagarmatha National Park results in trekkers with a beautiful sunrise and the mindblowing views of Mount Everest, Lhotse, Nuptse, Ama Dablam, Thamserku, Kongde and so on. In exploring Namche Bazar, we observe traditional Sherpa life, Khumjung Hillary School and enjoy flora and fauna found at such altitude. Overnight at a guesthouse.

Day 6Namchabazar to the Tengboche Monastery (3,860m)

During this trek, we go through the Dudh-Koshi River and pass by rhododendron forests to Tengboche. While going through the Dudh Koshi River, we enjoy the fabulous views of mountain tops like Mount Everest, Lhotse, Nuptse, Ama Dablam, Thamserku, Kongde and so on. Upon reaching Tengboche, we visit Tengboche Monastery-the largest monastery in the region and sink in the views of Everest, Ama Dablam, and other peaks. ) – 5 hrs. Overnight at a guesthouse.

Day 7Tengboche to Dingboche (4,400 m)

We drop down and trek through forests filled with a variety of lush trees – birch, conifers, and rhododendrons. This journey again results from us with tremendous views of Mt. Everest, Lhotse, and Ama Dablam. The trek moves ahead towards the Imja Valley, Lobuche River and ultimately begins climbing up to Dingboche. At Dingboche, we see a beautiful array of fields enclosed by stone walls to protect barley, buckwheat, and potatoes from the cold winds and grazing animals. 6 hrs. Overnight at a guesthouse

Day 8Dingbocha to Lobuche (4900m)

Dingboche is a famous stop for trekkers and climbers headed to Mt. Everest, Ama Dablam or Imja Tse. The village is beautiful with an array of fields enclosed by stone walls to protect barley, buckwheat, and potatoes from the cold wind and grazing animals. We spend a day at Dingboche for adjustment. We take day hikes to either Nagarjuna Hill for appreciable views of Makalu, Lhotse, Chalotse, Tawache, and Ama Dablam. back to same tea house/ guesthouse.

Day 9Lobuche to Gorakshep and hike to Everest Base camp (5363m)

We start the day with a slight climb to Duglha at the end of the terminal moraine of the Khumbu Glacier. From here, we climb up a steep trail to Chupki Lhara, where we find an array of stones with prayer flags used as memorials to Scott Fischer (American mountaineer) and 10-time Everest submitter Babu Chiri Sherpa (Nepali mountain guide) who died on a mission to climb Everest. Next, we continue our trek to the Khumbu Glacier moraine and find ourselves facing different great peaks – Khumbutse, Lingtren, Pumori and Mahalangur Himal. After that, we reach Lobuche .overnight at the guesthouse

Day 10Morning hike to Kallapathar (5,545m) to see Mountain View and sunrise then trek down to Lobuche (4900m)

We prepare for an early morning departure, amid pre-dawn darkness and low temperatures (-10 to -14 C). It is always possible for breezy winds which is common. Familiar peaks such as Lingtren, Khumbutse, and Changtse tower to the east even as Everest begins to reveal itself. But, it is while reaching Kala Patthar that we get to see 360 degree up-close and awesome views of Mt. Everest. And most wonderful things to be known is that the sunset view from Kala Patthar is more admirable than the sunrise view. As the setting sun’s rays strike the snow-capped mountains, the resulting scenery is incredible which result like shiny diamonds. ) overnight at guest house – 7hrs

Day 11Lobuche to Chhukung(4,730m) Via Kongma La Pass

Day 13 Orientation on Climbing at Island Peak Base camp (5,200m)
