Lower Dolpo trek lies in far western part of Nepal in the shey-Phoksundo national park 400 km west of Kathmandu. Lower Dolpa trekking was restricted for foreigners until 1990.This trek is Beautiful trek over many passes, jungle, ravines and over the Himalayan main chain. The lower Dolpo trek is meant for real adventures wishing for an off the beaten-path experience. Lower Dolpo trek is home to many rare and end angered animal species including the snow leopard,Musk,deer and blue sheep.In this trek there two passes,Bagala,5190m and Numa-la 5318m with their long steep ascents and long steep descents. Lower Dolpa trekking are the wonderful yak caravans and some of the oldest and largest Buddhist monasteries in the area. In this trek is the flat upper valley, which contains a number of interesting villages mostly inhabited by people of Magar and Gurung origins. This trek including the pristine turquoise phoksundo lake,Split between rocks that rise2000m into the clear mountain skies. We begin our 19 day in Kathmandu with visit to UNESCO world heritage sits before heading to our journey “lower Dolpo trek.

Day 1Arrival in Kathmandu (1350m) Tribhuvan international

Airport (TIA) pick up by our office representative then transfer you to your Hotel, evening brief you about your programs, Overnight at Hotel in Kathmandu.

Day 2Sightseeing of Kathmandu valley UNESCO world heritage sites

After breakfast, proceed for sightseeing tours to world heritage sites of Pashupatinath Temple-the holiest Hindu Temple on the bank of sacred Bagmati River, Bodhanath Stupa – the biggest Buddhist Stupa architecture in the world! Patan Durbar Square is the oldest city in the Kathmandu valley with age old tradition also called Lalitpur – the city of fine arts. The visit covers the Durbar Square, the Krishna temple, the Kumbheswore temple, the Golden temple and many more. Swayambhunath Stupa-the 2000 years old legendary stupa on the hillock also nick-named as monkey temple.

Day 3Fly Kathmandu to Nepalgunj

Day 4Fly Nepalgunj to Jhupal (Dolpo) (2320m) and trek to Dunai (2850m) 2-3 hrs walk.

1 Meals and drinking in Trek

The meals are included in our package which is taken in lodges. We will get breakfast and dinner at the lodge where we stay overnights. Our guide will choose and stop for lunch on the available place for every day on a trek. We will request you to bring water and use medicine and drink freely or therefore you can also have options of buying purification water bottled or boiled water in every place as well

12 Trekking Day

We will have to walk around 6 to 8 hours per day/ 10 to 12 km per day more or less. We will have our breakfast at the tea house and begin our trekking as in the middle of long trekking we will have our lunch at the tea house and after some time we will start the trekking again. However, will end our night will dinner at tea house take rest to have some fun and remaining trek we will start it again tomorrow after breakfast.
