Khopra Trek is the alternative trekking route in Annapurna Region. Khopra trek is also known as Khair Lake trek. Khopra trek is situated in 3660m it is the main destiny of the trek from where the visitor can see Panoramic outstanding and breathtaking mountains view as Mt Dhaulagiri, Tukuche peak, close View Annapurna South face, and many other peaks. This trek is natural to walk inside the rhododendron forest. Khayer Lake is another attraction of this trek which is beautiful and quite. This trek presents what Nepal has to offer including rice field and cultural villages along the route. In this trek, we can see Ghandruk Village, Tadopani village and Ghorepani are much beautiful rhododendron flower colorful villages where a visitor can explore their locality lifestyle and cultures.

We begin our 12 day trip in Kathmandu with visits to UNESCO world heritage sites before heading to one of the most exotic and interesting trek routes in Annapurna region of Nepal “Kopra Ridge trekking”

Itinerary

Day 1Arrival in Kathmandu (1350m) Tribhuvan international airport

Airport (TIA) pick up by our office representative then transfer you to your Hotel, evening brief you about your programs, Overnight at Hotel in Kathmandu. (B)

Day 2After breakfast guided sightseeing of Kathmandu valley UNESCO world heritage sites.

After breakfast, proceed for sightseeing tours to world heritage sites of Pashupatinath Temple-the holiest Hindu Temple on the bank of sacred Bagmati River, Bodhanath Stupa – the biggest Buddhist Stupa architecture in the world! Patan Durbar Square is the oldest city in the Kathmandu valley with age old tradition also called Lalitpur – the city of fine arts. The visit covers the Durbar Square, the Krishna temple, the Kumbheswore temple, the Golden temple and many more. Swayambhunath Stupa-the 2000 years old legendary stupa on the hillock also nick-named as monkey temple.

Day 3Drive Kathmandu to Pokhara (900m) transfer you to your Hotel, evening get preparation for trek ,Overnight at Hotel in Pokhara. (B)

We leave Kathmandu and head towards the western side through the highway road. The drive moves along the winding path with huge Trishuli River on our right. The beautiful view of green hills, villages, forests and terraced farms gives us company throughout the drive. After the long drive we finally reach Pokhara, the major tourist destination in Nepal and which also famous for number of lakes. We will walk around the city for some time and spend our night at the hotel there.

Day 4Drive to Nayapool and trek to Tikhedunga (1500m) 4 hours trek over night at lodge (B,L,D).

Day 5Tikhedunga to Ghorepani (2800m) 7 hours trek. overnight at lodge (B,L,D)

From tikhedunga we climb up 1,400m to the beautifully situated village of Ghorepani and enjoy the beautiful viewpoint sunrise

Day 6Ghorepani to Swanta (2400m) 4 hours trek. over night at lodge (B,L,D)

Day 7Swata to Dhankharka (3000m) 4 to 5 hours trek. over night at lodge (B,L,D)

Day 8: Dhankharka to Khopra Danda (3660m) 4 hours trek over night at lodge (B,L,D)

Day 9Khopra Danda to Khayer Lake (4600m) and back (A day hike) over night at lodge (B,L,D)

Day 10Khopra Danda to Dobato (3425m) 7 hours trek over night at lodge (B,L,D)

Day 11Dobato to Ghandruk (2000m) 6 hours trek. over night at lodge (B,L,D)

Day 12Ghandruk to Nayapul trek and drive to Pokhara. Hotel in pokhara (B)

Day 13Pokhara to Kathmandu by tourist bus 7 hours. Hotel in Kathmandu (B)

Day 14Final Departure to International Airport.

1 Meals and drinking in Trek

The meals are included in our package which is taken in lodges. We will get breakfast and dinner at the lodge where we stay overnights. Our guide will choose and stop for lunch on the available place for every day on a trek. We will request you to bring water and use medicine and drink freely or therefore you can also have options of buying purification water bottled or boiled water in every place as well

12 Trekking Day

We will have to walk around 6 to 8 hours per day/ 10 to 12 km per day more or less. We will have our breakfast at the tea house and begin our trekking as in the middle of long trekking we will have our lunch at the tea house and after some time we will start the trekking again. However, will end our night will dinner at tea house take rest to have some fun and remaining trek we will start it again tomorrow after breakfast.
