Pikey Peak trek is newly opened trekking destination in the Solokhumbu region with is situated 250km to the east of Kathmandu. It is also culturally rich trekking where you can see ancient monasteries.

Pikey Danda is most popular for it’s sunrise and sunset view. In this trek, we can see various spectacular mountains over 8,000 meters including Everest, Kanchenjunga, Makalu, and many other snow-covered peaks. In this trek, we will also opportunity to get unique cultures, Lifestyle and practice of Sherpa cast and you can also sample the different foods of this region.

We began our 10 day trip in Kathmandu with a visit to UNESCO world heritage sites before heading to the most adventurous trek in Nepal “pikey peak trek”.

Itinerary

Day 1Arrival in Kathmandu (13,45m) at the Tribhuwan International Airport (TIA)

Day 2Sightseen around Kathmandu valley world heritage UNESCO site

Today is for sightseeing tours to world heritage sites of Pashupatinath Temple-the holiest Hindu Temple on the bank of sacred Baghmati River, Bodhanath Stupa-the biggest Buddhist Stupa architecture in the world! Patan Durbar Square is the oldest city in the Kathmandu valley with age old tradition also called Lalitpur-the city of fine arts. The visit covers the Durbar Square, the Krishna temple, the Kumbheswore temple, the Golden temple and many more. . Swayambhunath Stupa-the 2000 years old legendary stupa on the hillock also nick-named as monkey temple

Day 3Kathmandu to Dhap by Drive (2932m)

Day 4Dhap to Jhapre (2820m)

Day 5Jhapre to pikey base camp (3640m)

Day 6Pikey base camp to Lamjura (3530m) via pikey peak (4067m)

Day 7Lamjura to Junbase(2700m) via Lamjura pass

Day 8Junbase to Salleri (2379m)

Day 9Salleri to Kathmandu
