We start the trek walking through evergreen forests with pines and conifers. The area is also rich with colorful rhododendron bushes. We then take the trail to Pangboche, crossing Imja river. The trail takes us to famous Pangboche monastery. We again walk ahead and reach Imja valley and from there towards Dingboche from where we get to see the field of various kind of crops like barley, buckwheat, and potatoes, carefully protected from cold winds and animals. We spend the night at Dingboche. ) 5 to 6 hours Overnight at a guesthouse.(B,L,D
We will take a break one more day for the purpose of acclimatization. The gradual increase in the altitude might create some health issues and to prevent that we will stay for the day at Dingboche and just explore around. Dingboche is a beautiful village with a variety of mountain vegetation and domestic animals. We might as well hike to Nangkar Tshang hill or Chukkhung valley from where we get the breathtaking views of snowy mountain peaks. In the evening we will get back to our lodge at Dingboche
Our trail passes through stone-walled fields and Imja Khola valley before entering glacier moraines amidst towering Himalayas. The trail continues to Bibre which is a yak herdsman place. From here, directly across the valley is the fantastic Ama Dablam and the Amphu Labsa mountains. The trail ahead is intersected by icy streams. We continue our walk for around half an hour and reach Chhukung. After lunch, we begin our trek towards Chhukung Ri. The climb to Chhukung Ri involves some easy scrambling near the summit. From the top, we can look directly across the valley for a fantastic view of Ama Dablam and Amphu Labcha peaks. We descend back to Chhukung to spend the night.
We begin today’s trek very early in the morning to reach the highest part of the entire trip which is Kongma La pass. We can either take a trail over a hill which is to the northwest of Chhukung over the Nuptse Glacier moraines or we can walk back to Bibre and trek on the trail above the Niyang Khola. The top of the pass is marked by cairns and Buddhist prayer flags. The final descent from the pass is the most difficult part of today’s journey. After climbing the moraine on the far side, the trail turns north through Khumbu Glacier which takes us to Lobuche.
Our trail moves along the lateral moraine of the Khumbu Glacier. Ahead on the trail we see the crest of the north ridge of Everest along with Pumori, Mahalangur, Lingtern, Khumbutse, Nuptse and other mountains. A small ascent takes us to Thangma Riju. From here we admire panoramic views of the Himalayan vista. We ascend on a steep trail up to the top of Changri Glacier. As we reach Gorak Shep, we are surrounded by the Himalayas. After resting for a short while, we continue to Everest Base Camp. We pass through rocky dunes, moraines and streams before reaching the base camp of the world’s tallest mountain, Everest. From here we admire Nuptse, Khumbuste and Pumori mountains. We trek back to Gorak Shep and spend the night.
Early morning we hike to top of Kalapathar at 5,545 meters, highest point of this adventure as the walk leads up for few hours offering tremendous views of surrounding snow capped mountains as far to the horizon including Mt. Everest at close distance and beneath the towering lofty peak of Pumori. After a great time return to Gorakshep for breakfast and continue walk near Thugla, and descend to a small valley, beneath Cholatse peak for overnight stop at Dzongla located at the base of Cho-la pass separating Gokyo and Everest base camp area
A tough and exciting day, at morning we cross the second pass of this adventure over Tsho-la pass ( Chola), after an breakfast follow the path leading to a steep up and then cross the glacier on the eastern side. On reaching top of the pass at an altitude of 5,367m, sometimes it will be quite challenging to traverse (in snow conditions), from the top offers amazing views of mountains with Cholatse Glacier, from here descend carefully to Thangna for overnight stop after a hard climb over Cho-la pass, Thangna at 4,750m a small isolated place with few Lodges.
After a great time crossing Cho-la pass, an easy walk follows the main Gokyo trail, at the foot of the Ngozumba glacier. Slowly and gradually journey leads to Gokyo Lake, climbing a rocky path into valley passing the first lake and the second lake, reaching the third lake called Dudh Pokhari where Gokyo located at 4,790 meters views.
Morning hike to Gokyo 5th Lake a 2-3 hours round trip, walk leads high on moraine rocky path heading towards at the top of Gokyo Ri with awesome panorama of Cho-Oyu world 6th highest mountain straddles the border with Nepal / Tibet includes grand views of Mt. Everest, Changtse as far to Mt. Makalu.
Last pass of the adventure, starting early morning towards Renjo-la, walk follows at the end of Gokyo Lake, with marvelous views of Mt. Everest, Lhotse, Cholatse and Taboche, and then over Renjo La pass at 5,465 m / 17,929 ft, one of the most difficult section of this adventure, on reaching the top with breathtaking panorama of Mt. Cho-Oyu and other high surrounding peaks. After a nice break walk follows to a frozen ponds beneath Renjo La pass, and then descend reaching a small settlement at Lungdeng which is near to Nangpa-la pass towards Tibet. Walk continues to reach Marlung village for overnight stop above Bhote Koshi River up streams.
After taking breakfast, we trek down to Thame more amazing snow peaks. We may meet Tibetan trader encampmentmonastery set among the many homes of monks and lay people. It’s perched on the side of a hill overlooking the valley. This is the site for the spring celebration of the Mani Rimdu festival, held about the middle of May each year.s along the way for pictures of a rare lifestyle. We will leave Thame early in the morning and start marching ahead towards Namche Bazaar. We will pass through hydroelectricity power station on our way. We will cross gompas, and chhortens decorated with prayer flags. We will also walk past number of mani walls alongside the trails. We will then finally reach Namche Bazaar.
We begin our trek with a descent. As we continue our trek, we cross several bridges over the fast flowing Dudh Koshi River and its tributaries. Now the trail has become more level and natural. On our trek we enjoy walking on open plains, through rhododendron and pine forests and enjoy distant views of the snow covered peaks. We walk through Sherpa villages noticing their impressive faith in Buddhism and the culture of prayer stones and prayer flags. After reaching Lukla, we stretch those sore legs and recall the experiences of the last couple of weeks. Our long trek to the mountain and its high passes ends today. Overnight in Lukla

12 Trekking Day
We will have to walk around 6 to 8 hours per day/ 10 to 12 km per day more or less. We will have our breakfast at the tea house and begin our trekking as in the middle of long trekking we will have our lunch at the tea house and after some time we will start the trekking again.
